Inspired by many Things (beyond cited), I created a mount for my Arducam B0292.This is a USB camera (because all I can get right now is Pi400), and the mount housing needed to accommodate the mini-UVC USB port that sticks out in the back.I ended up with a design in which:the camera is held tightly between 2 pieces of frame-like platesit is assembled with 4 integrated posts on the front plate that go through the camera's 4 corner datum holes and the back plate.
